Instantly greeted when we came in. Staff is friendly. Quick to take our order. It was pretty much dead inside. Started cooking our food right away. Came in about 7pm. The floor was in desperate need of a sweep/mop. Food came out pretty quick. Service was good. Has a small jukebox for music that you have to pay to use. Has table seating or tall dining seating. Overall good experience.
NOT good. Waffle was overcooked, ham was fried dry. It will probably be 5 years before I try another Waffle House. However, the staff was polite and very friendly.
You always know what to expect at waffle house. Decent food at a decent price with a decent waitress. Always my go to spot on the road and late at night.
The food tasted like it was re-heated from early in the day. And their so-called "minute maid" orange juice tasted like Bright and Early orange flavored juice. $24 plus tip was a total waste
Kinda difficult to get to, may need to turn around in hotel parking lot for easy access. It is the closest Waffle House to James Island and West Ashley though. Great, substantial breakfast food for cheap. Always a favorite stop.
