I used this branch to apply for passports for my entire family, and the process was quick, painless and personable.
Other USPS locations seem to dread talking with customers, even had one location where an employee picked up the phone to stop it from ringing muttered "uggh" then hung up. Had to get a passport pretty quick without a appointment. Wish I could remember the guys name, guy with a beard who dyes it red occasionally. Anyway he bared with me and got my passport done.
The only thing I don't like is the lunch time from 1pm till 2:30 pm. It gets me every time and I end up having to wait till 2:30 when ALL the schools let out and I inevitably get stuck in the traffic from hades.
I just read a review from an unhappy resident, (Karen Moran) and would have to say that her first paragraph makes it clear what type of person she is!
Extremely unreliable! After delivering a package to the wrong mailbox, the staff at this facility failed to accept accountability for the misplaced package and their customer service was awful! I called in 3 days in a row, each time being placed on hold for at least 20 minutes. I was either hung up on or promised a call back that was never received.
Ever since I moved from Mt Pleasant to Johns Island I have had difficulty getting packages delivered. They are constantly rescheduled for the next day, or say out for delivery and then don’t get delivered. I have had 3 things just sitting at the post office for three days. It’s extremely frustrating.
The service there has always been straight forward and professional.
