Loved everything i have had done there. The facial was so good and relaxing I almost forgot to breath they really know how to put you at ease and feel comfortable and taken care of.
BEWARE before booking your appointment at this very sad excuse for a spa! After hearing about how pushy the owner was from other small businesses in the area, I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and book my appointment online. I did notice that there were not very many massage therapist available but again I thought how nice it would be to have a spa right down the road I am a person who has had massages for years by both male and female therapists with no problem ever... As I was waiting for my appointment I overheard the owner discuss with another employee about an interview she was having the next day but she thought it wasn't going to go well because she could already tell but her conversation it wasn't going to work... then a man appears and just stares at me... I say are you (male name)? He says yes and turns and walks away I assumed I was to follow but no one said so then we go into a room .....where this man stands again looking at me very awkwardly...after a brief ( 10 more words or so ) he left without any direction. I have never felt as awkward and uncomfortable as I did that second so I knew I could not let that man touch me. I tried to politely explain this to the owner but she ran me down in the parking lot where "she admitted she knew he was socially awkward but he was a great therapist and would not even speak to me during my massage"... I told her no thank you and again apologized and I left. She then called me back to inform me she would be charging me $100 since I made an appointment knowing it was a male.... here is the thing, as I said before per her conversation with her employee sometimes you just "know" when things are not gonna work. I am sorry but it is not ok to charge someone when by your own admittance the therapist is awkward. You should definitely write that into the description or this massage. And by the way of course he would not talk during the massage because he never talked to introduce himself. You get massages for comfort but when you are uncomfortable before you even close the door it is stealing to take money for that. Shame on you as a business owner, BUT MOSTLY SHAME ON YOU AS A FEMALE. Pathetic!
Nice to find a good pedicure on Johns Island. Rosette has a gentle touch. I will be back.
Great place! Brand new and very clean and calm atmosphere. Owner is very nice and prides herself on exceptional service. I am a fan of the individual bowls for pedicures ( not anything with drains, etc.) and this place has the bowls..much cleaner option in my opinion.
Great hot stone massage from Rob! Very relaxing and soothing. Love the brand new building and decor of the spa. Just what Johns Island needs! A place to go relax from all the hustle and bustle that is happening on the island. Thank you for bringing a much needed establishment to the island.
