Lastly, the check-out lines are always long. Why have so many lines when there are rarely more than 2 open? This store desperately needs self check-out lanes.
This used to be a good store when it was Piggly Wiggly but they quit selling local Goods they no longer but local Goods on their shelves or promote local farms and local wears
Unorganized and not well stocked. Staff does the best they can for the most part and all are friendly. If you need body wash.... check the detergent aisle.
The produce section is often out of common items. The dairy section often has expired items so check your dates. The meat section is all over the place with price and availability. The deli department has the rudest and slowest employees in the entire store. Yes, please blankly stare at me while you dump green beans from a can into a baking pan. I am standing here for no good reason. Yes, please crumple my cheese and deli meats up before stuffing them into bags.
Definitely the worst grocery store on Johns Island. There are a handful of employees that are helpful and understand they are in the customer service business, but they are far out numbered by employees that clearly feel they should be paid for merely being present in the building.
